Gather Around the Firepit...
Enjoy a glass of wine around our propane firepit as the sun filters through the shade trees above. And treat yourself again to the cozy firepit as you enjoy your morning coffee and chirping birds.
Our main deck features seating for 12. Four of those seats are swivel chairs that nest perfectly around the propane firepit.
Before your visit, the propane is filled and deck prepared.
Have a Picnic on the Lawn
This is your opportunity to slow down to create a lasting memory with an old-fashioned picnic! The north and south lawn – or even the meadow - are the perfect place to throw out a blanket and enjoy snacks and sips.
Available for use during your stay, everything you need is tucked away in our luxury picnic backpack including: a soft blanket, a cooler, an insulated wine sleeve, salt/pepper, a petite cutting board and knife, and plates, utensils, and cups for up to four.
You’ll always remember this romantic on-property experience!

Whimsical yard games are the ideal reason to escape the digital world and get outside.

The library is stocked with a variety of books, board games, and puzzles engaging guests of all ages and building real lasting memories.
Take Family Photos
Dream Acres is an idyllic location to capture your family photos. When you book overnight stays with us, you are welcome to hire a photographer during your stay. (We recommend our favorite family photographer Crystal who is familiar with the property!)
Bundle up and stand in front of our forest for your holiday greeting card. Or capture your memories in the orchard, under the shade trees, or in front of innumerable beautiful backdrops. (If inclined, share your images by tagging us @dreamacresguesthouse on Instagram!)

Looking for a lovely setting for your next gathering? Handled directly through our company Events Page, you can host it at Dream Acres! Family reunions, rehearsal dinners, bridal & baby showers, company meetings, ministry retreats, celebrations, staff trainings, and girls’ getaways…are all coordinated with customized care. Indoor or outdoor, we host you in style. Farm tables, folding chairs, hospitality supplies, whiteboards and more are at your disposal.

Hundreds of Oregon’s renowned wineries are just a 10-30 mile drive from the Dream Acres Guesthouse. Explore the glorious vineyards, enjoy the tasting rooms and restaurants, or hire a wine tour bus to take your group around our gorgeous valley. You’ll soon learn why Oregon wines and our stunning countryside hamlets are world-famous.
Shop at The On-Farm Grocery Across the Street
Go back in time as you stroll to the local grocery store. Our Table on-farm grocery store is just a short walk across the street, featuring local produce, cheeses, milk, eggs, bread, meats, and kitchen staples. Check store hours online.
Enjoy Coffee, Restaurants & Shopping in Historic Old Town Sherwood
Just a five minute drive away, stroll historic Old Town Sherwood and enjoy restaurants (some with outdoor seating), coffee and donut shops, a tavern, a wine bar, a dessert shop, antiques, and so much more! Just a 4 minute drive away, Snyder Park features walking paths, playground equipment, a water feature to splash in, and pickleball courts. A set of pickleball paddles and balls are available in the entry hall closet to enjoy a rousing round at the courts!

Visit Langer’s Entertainment Center in Sherwood, the area’s largest indoor fun center for kids and adults alike.
